So Alan comes home one day and says he wants to play baseball. Last year he had no interest at all but now
he is all about baseball. His coach is Dr. Kevin Mitchell. He is so good with the kids. If it was me, I
would be screaming at them all the time to be still and pay attention! But he is very patient and very encouraging to
all of the boys. They all look so cute in their little uniforms. I love watching them play and practice.
Alan is doing great considering he just got a glove when we signed him up. I am very proud of him and will be no matter
how he does!

At his first game, he did really good. He struck out the first two at bats but the thrid time he got a great hit
and just stood there. It was so funny and so cute. Everyone in the stands is yelling "RUN!!! RUN!!!". He
finally did but since he waited so long he got out at first but that didn't stop him. He ran half-way to second before
he stopped. I think it's because in practice they all get a bucket of balls. Whether you hit or not, you stand
there and wait for the next pitch. And when you run, you run all of the bases. I wouldn't have had it any other
way. It was the perfect thing to happen for his first hit at his first game.
